If you have ever seen a dog competing in agility then you know how exciting it is to watch. It is even more exciting to build that kind of working relationship with your own dog. Can you imagine your dog going over the dog walk... flying through the weave poles... running through the tunnels... flying over the jumps... You and your dog would enjoy all of this in addition to strengthening your relationship.
Our agility classes are fun, safe and a great introduction to the sport. Some people do it to build their relationship with their dog, for exercise or to compete. Dogs must be done growing, physically fit, dog and people friendly. Private lessons are available for dogs that don't "play well with others".
Due to the increased involvement in this class we are having most advanced classes outside even through the colder months. Working on 40-50 degree days is very easy on the dogs and handlers. We don't practice outside in the snow. Level one is still taught inside and in a small secure area outside.
We compete and enjoy training our dogs. We also enjoy introducing others to the sport.

If you would like to see an agility competition contact us and we'll help you find one in the area. Some of our students have started competing and doing a great job with their dogs and bringing home the ribbons. BEWARE! Once you start you won't be able to stop! I'm speaking from experience! (If you think you are too old to start, I was 35 for my first competition and you will see people in their 60s and 70s competing as well! No excuses accepted.)

The cost for agility class is $80. Dogs do attend all 6 sessions.
